Welcome to Alpine Crest Resort:

Southern hospitality and charm are what you will find at Alpine Crest Resort, the Resort Club of Helen. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Helen is the perfect spot for a peaceful family vacation. Take in the town’s rustic mountain charm and many unique shops and restaurants.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the Chattahoochee River, this Northeast Georgia village has a rich history linked to the Cherokee Indians and Indian burial mounds as well as early settlers who arrived to mine for gold and cut virgin timber for a thriving lumber industry in the early 1900s. Helen is a re-creation of an Alpine village complete with cobblestone alleys and old-world towers. Helen has shopping, camping, mountains, theater, recreation, romantic getaways, beautiful scenery, family activities, waterfalls, museums, history, art, fishing, tubing, golf, and more. Something for every member of the family.

Enjoy the indoor pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, sauna and whirlpool. The kids will enjoy the playground, two water slides and paddle boats. Fishing is available nearby on the Chattahoochee River as well as our man-made pond on site.

One-bedroom and two-bedroom accommodations are available. Our villas are complete with fully equipped kitchens, whirlpool tubs, fireplaces and balconies. Laundry facilities are available on site for your convenience.

We are located on the north end of town within walking distance of downtown Helen, just off of Hwy. 75.

Area Desinations:

Hike and bike the scenic mountain trails at Unicoi State Park, one of Georgia’s most popular parks. If it’s not too scary for little ones, spend a few hours at the Live Tarantulas Museum where 25 adult exotic tarantulas from South American, Asian and African rainforests live. Beside tarantulas, you’ll also see bearded dragons, iguanas, scorpions, and a 17-foot-long Burmese python. What’s a visit to Georgia without sampling Georgia peanuts? For 28 years, Fred’s Famous Peanuts has been selling boiled peanuts at its roadside country store.
