VRI Vacation Resorts International-MROP Multi Resort Ownership Plan:

MROP is also known as the Multi Resort Ownership Plan, Inc. This is the non-profit timeshare association in which you own. MROP currently has 50 resort locations. MROP owners can choose to vacation at any of their home resort locations based upon the color value owned and availability. Vacation Resorts International (VRI) is the management company that MROP contracts with to handle its day to day operations. VRI makes reservations, handles the on-site operations, pays the bills, collects the maintenance fees and manages customer service for MROP. In addition, VRI operates an internal exchange service, called Trading Places Classic. There is no membership fee for MROP members to belong to Trading Places Classic. VRI also coordinates all external exchanges with RCI & Interval International (II). In the MROP system there are studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom units. when you schedule into a resort you are automatically scheduled into the "standard" size unit. The "standard" size unit is the smallest unit at any particular property. For a $25 processing fee (for the whole week) you may upgrade to a larger unit depending on availability. Bedroom sizes vary from resort to resort. For example: At the Villas at Southgate and Fisherman's Village resorts, you will always receive a 2-bedroom unit because that is the only size available at those resorts. In Park City, you will automatically be scheduled into a 1-bedroom with the option to upgrade to either a 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom unit for the $25 processing fee. About 60% of the weeks are 2-bedroom units.

Sweetwater at Lake Conroe

Featuring an outdoor pool and hot tub, Sweetwater at Lake Conroe offers lakefront apartments. Each accommodations will provide you with a cable TV and telephone. Apartments come with a full kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, stovetop, refrigerator and microwave. A washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities are also provided. Featuring a hairdryer, the private bathrooms come with a bath or shower. A fitness center and table tennis are available on site. Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is located 17 mi away from the property. The Woodlands’ Market Street is within 17 mi of Sweetwater at Lake Conroe.

Sweetwater at Lake Conroe is located right on the beautiful 22,000-acre lake and has several nearby marinas from which to choose. The lake offers great fishing, sailing, waterskiing, and much more. There are 27 holes of golf on-site and about a dozen more courses in the area. If you feel like swimming, you can enjoy one of four outdoor pools. Afterward take a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Tennis buffs can choose from 18 courts. There’s also a children’s pool and fitness center.

Hike, bike, camp, horseback ride, or bird watch outdoors in 161,508-acre Sam Houston National Forest or the W. Goodrich Jones State Forest. In historic downtown you’ll enjoy fine dining and great outlet center shopping or antiquing. Sightseers will enjoy visiting the Crighton Theatre, and NASA (a two-hour drive away), plus many museums, festivals, and rodeos.
